Hey guys, my name is Nick. I'm from Yakima. Just "finished" my '91 Toyota, pretty new to wheeling but I'm always willing to get some seat time.
My truck is a 91 standard cab. I bought it with a straight axle under the front end and new trail gear 4" springs in all 4 corners, a 3" body lift and bald 33's. I've been going through it for the last couple of years. I did some tube work, bought some parts that lead to buying more parts... I'm running 5.29s, grizzly rear, high pinion with a Detroit up front, dirty 30s, rock assault front, dual 2.28 cases with an inchworm clockable doubler, fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks in all 4 corners, just ordered some fox air bumps, I picked up some brand new old style 37' MTR's last fall.
I just need some beadlocks, finish my exo and on board air.
Just another Toyota guy.

Thanks guys, anyone around Yakima/ellensburg area heading out anytime soon?
Re: Just another Toyota guy.
Nice pickup! My 4runner started life as a '94 pickup...
Wake Up, It's 5:29, time to go wheeling!
Re: Just another Toyota guy.
I wouldn't mind having a 4 runner, Maybe I will redo the bed someday and get an extended cab. Single cabs suck.H8PVMNT wrote:Nice pickup! My 4runner started life as a '94 pickup...
Re: Just another Toyota guy.
Yeah I bought mine new and wheeled it four years but as time goes by and kids come you just need more space. The 1st gen 4Runner bodies fit on your frame pretty easy you just have to redo the rear bed area mounts. What I would really like someday is an overseas 4 door hilux. That would be pretty cool.
The single cab Toyotas are pretty tight. It helps to think of them as a really nice jacket instead of a truck...

I'm happy with my wheelbase now so going to a quad cab would be a little too long. When the time comes and I need more seats for family I will build a buggy.
