The problem with the Bronco Dana 30 was the weak ring and pinion, and there's no upgrade to fix that. If that's also true for the Jeep version I wouldn't bother upgrading the rest of the axle with RCVs etc. It will be money wasted.

I didn't get out at all last year and only had my Bronco out a couple times over the summer. Hoping to make it more of a priority this snow season.

We have some drifts ~7000' but not a whole lot to speak of otherwise. Normally this time of year we'd be snowed out of our wheeling areas.

Wow, that's a difficult break to prepare for and deal with!

I wish we had enough snow! Fairly dry winter here.

My neighbor has a set he puts on his side by side in the winter. No doubt they can go like crazy. But it can be a real pain if he gets stuck and spits a track off...

Finally managed to get out yesterday. Didn't find as much snow as we expected but it was still a good day. A couple spots approached 18". We actually had our first snow the weekend of September 16! It was a whopping 18" dump but couldn't get out wheeling that weekend. 20171105_124737.jpg

I went out and looked and didn't see anything on it. The guys at Wildhorses are helpful and could probably tell you.

I managed to get out also. First snow of the season for us, it's been pretty dry so far. I switched from 33" TSLs to 35" KM2s this year and so far I really like them.
