Re: Trip Report: Snowshoeing Mount Pilchuck - January 7, 2017
1st my truck did not break down, YOU broke it! 2nd I did poop out. The way I felt yesterday I should have quit sooner but it's a good motivator to get into better shape. It has been a struggle since the back surgery but I need to pick up the pace. Last but not least it was a blast, if the snow stays ...

Re: Product Review: Hydrapak hydration reservoir
FYI
My Hydrapak started leaking, a small crack where the tube plugs in. I sent in a warranty claim via their website and less than a week later a new one was at my door.
Great customer service.

Re: Pilchuck 2/16
Unfortunately Dexter was not happy about me going up and leaving him, so with him whining I literarily spent less than a minuet at the lookout. Here is a picture of the rocks to the ladder and one of the pictures from the panorama shows the lack of snow on the backside of the lookout. That is all I ...

Pilchuck 2/16
Well I had the day off so I decided to take the trusty dog Dexter and hike up to the lookout, zero real snow. I have been nursing a few leg problems.... so I packed at 25 pounds and it was just shy of 3hrs round trip (all things considered I was happy with that). I was shocked that at 6am there were ...

Re: Trip Report: 12/27
I'm not sure if your taking about my Bronco but I don't wheel it allot anymore except the snow. It's been through the Rubicon a few times, and allot of the local stuff here but with the politics involved in land use stuff combined with trails becoming groomed and over crowded I find I would rather ...

Re: Event: New Years 2015 Hangover Run (Washington)
I dig the video and the angle. Are you using a Go Pro to shoot? If so, which one? Thanks for the complement. Yes it's a Gopro, not the latest or greatest just a "hero 2". I don't think the new ones have enough "new" to justify upgrading, although a bit smaller would be cool. If I was looking to buy ...

http://youtu.be/UA3SNYBKF6U I can not ever seem to get the youtube video function to work... You have to use the long URL format between the youtube tags. Make sure the url starts with "http://" and "not https://" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA3SNYBKF6U Great video  . I saw it happen in ...

Trip Report: 12/27
We finally got a bit of snow so Matt and I decided to do a last minuet run. Conditions were great for an early year run but there is no base at the end of December. The day was great but as always I only got a few pictures.

Re: Vehicle recommendation?
Nobody makes a great point, if it's just you it's one thing but if you plan on hauling a wife and kids around then you want a larger starting platform. If you can do fab work options are unlimited, if not then Toyota and Jeep have every part known to man in a bolt on kit.

Re: On-Board Air: York vs Powertank vs ARB
Chris, I will do you one better. I take a spare Bronco for parts most of the time..... Just have to distract Nobody long enough to get what I need.
Seriously if you don't have a York (or other engine driven pump) you are playing with fire.

Of course you are welcome Brian, we just have to wait for decent snow. We have not even been our yet but as soon as the snow starts flying you are more than welcome and if you want you are more than welcome crash out at my place.
I will keep in touch and I am excited to see your new motor in action.

Re: Trip Report: Mount Dickerman - New Years Day 2014
It was a good time, I was moving slow and did not get too many pictures. I took up a match box Bronco to get a picture to spoof the 15 years of Handover runs but I forgot to get it out

This winter sucks!
Maybe it's just because I am bummed about not having an real snow, no hangover run or just the fact I have not been up in the mountains in sometime.... I started looking at the Mt Rainer site to make myself feel better and there it is, just as bad there! First thing I noticed is that the snow area ...

Re: Costco Winter Gear 2013-2014
Just an FYI, Woodinville Costco does not have any of the Eddie Bauer coats or vests and they only had about 100 of the Kirkland coats and they were all XL, trust me my wife and I looked at all of them.
