Took the fam up to Cascade River Rd for some sledding. Gate is closed about 2mi before the end of the road, but it is an easy walk up and nice gradual slopes for sledding. Only a few inches at the gate, about 6in where we stopped just before the end of the road. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2854/11...

Re: Do big lugs really help?
MAN it's a 1989!!! cut those fenders!! bash the firewalls! I have used shim style wheel spacers to keep from frame rubbing. I go for the heaviest load range.. then just air down more. I've sliced a ton of sidewalls, it will really ruin your day. You can get all the tire flex if you air down more. Bi...

I don't even balance my tires. once you get over 35" they wobble differently depending on temperature and what kind of mood they are in hah

Re: 11-16-13 - Boardman
I got it used from a friend. hoping to use it for snowmobile assisted skiing on Mt Baker. Should be pretty fun, you can sled up to the crater if you are brave enough I hear. hopefully extreme. Also want to run Mt Loop hwy with family and North Cascades Hwy to Mazama.

Re: Finally!! Locked and geared.
If you want to keep your AC go find a junkyard AC and rig up a pulley to drive it. I wish I would have done that looking back. I used to use the harbor freight $50 compressor, it got me by for a few months, but it was more of a band aid

I used to run a tank.. never ended up using any power tools so I just ran a line straight from the pump to the quick disconnect with an always open chuck.
