Re: New member. I like your idea for this site.

I've been running 36x12.50 super swamper radials for several years now. I'd like to go bigger but can't really afford it. They're mounted on 15x8's without beadlocks and I can't remember the last time I lost a bead. I run them at 3 psi pretty frequently. I'm sure 8,000lbs has something to do with th...

Identify these wooden snowshoes

My wife inherited these wooden snowshoes. We're not sure if they belonged to her grandparents or if her mother had purchased them. We're completely in the dark. The only identifying markings are 10x56 on the bottom. And on the rubber binding it states, Made in Canada, Quebec, and 1959. Not sure they...

Snow Sliding

There's a little more to snow wheelin than just sitting in the warm cab of your rig. Snow sliding is like body surfing in the snow. To have perfect form, both hands must be straight up and both feet straight out. Getting down is the easy part  http://www.snowtrek.org/hangover-run-2007/hango...

Top Gear - Polor Special

I love this show. These guys are hilarious. Enjoy! edit: I had the entire show posted, but youtube has taken it down. Here are the 3 parts posted by the Top Gear show. It's really cut down. I recommend searching for the whole thing on youtube, or purchasing the DVD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WN...

Re: Hi, Im new

I tried to embed the youtube video for you, but it looks like it's an invalid url.

To embed youtube videos, just put the url between the youtube tags. I'll have to do some mods to allow embedding vids from other sites.

Re: Hi, Im new

Welcome to the site. I'm just getting things going. As you can see we don't really have any members yet. So thanks for joining and checking in. What part of WA are you in?

Hopefully we'll get plenty of snow this year. I've seen a couple dustings on Stevens Pass already.

Re: Tracked snow vehicle

whoa, a visitor.... Glad you checked the new site! I wasn't sure if sno-cat was more of a generic name for tracked snow vehicles. I have to assume there have been several manufactuers over the years. I know this one had a pretty small engine. The guy was having some overheating issues. Sounds like a...
