Yah ive wheeled in this rig many times while helping my friend build it, its very capable in the snow and out of it. Our club has a christmas tree run comming up Dec 11th. Not sure on location yet, depends where the snow is but probably around Mt Emily, Mt Fanny, or Kamela.

Some things I always have in the rig Tool bag Spare parts Axe Shovel Hi-lift Tow straps Snatch block Clevises First aid kit MRE or 2 Emergency kit Ill also grab my hunting pack that is always stocked with dry socks MRE's fire starter knives flashlight and spare batterys first aid kit rain poncho Oth...

I have a Garmin 60CSX handheld GPS with a dash mount, they are quite a bit cheaper now than when I got mine. It has a color screen, downloadable maps, will even tell you what resturaunts and gas stations are at freeway exits.
