01-12-15 - Pilchuck fail

I'll upload a photo tonight.. there is no snow. :puke: drove up yesterday in hopes of some snow wheeling and taking Julia sledding.. there was a few spots of an inch here or there... this winter is pathetic. Even up high on the mountain it looked patchy

nice. I've been getting spoiled by skis, there's not much motivation to climb anything if I can't ski it now :)

Re: Event: New Years 2015 Hangover Run (Washington)

01-03-15 - Mt Baker

Baker finally opened http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76wOMwQIr84 Couldn't ride very high from the flat lighting but got to check out the glacial ice. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8622/15576902103_5fb0f290ca_h_d.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8655/16009243248_d4b39037eb_h_d.jpg Most of those tre...

Re: Questions about snow wheeling "willing" :)

Where do you live? You want the biggest possible tire on there that your motor will turn and weld up the rear differential if you can't afford a locker. If I had a rig that was only for wheeling it would be on 40"+ tires. I am on 37s under my 4runner with stock axles its about the limit for a d...

Oh the runner isn't going anywhere, yep will need it for family runs! Took Julia for a sled ride up to Segelson in the runner.. no snow until 4k, pretty underwhelming.

12-21-14 - Snowpocalypse

Finally got to ride the Timbersled off the road... Mind blowing awesome  There was hardly any snow till 4,000ft. Four feet deep at 5,000ft~. Did a little skiing, but the snow wasn't very conductive to ski in well. Riding on the other hand was really fun. I don't have any desire to snow wheel...

Re: Trip Report: Return to Camp Muir - September 27-28, 2014
