Re: New 69 Bronco to Snowtrek.org - Seattle WA is my home ba
Welcome to the fourm. I don't know specifically what advice you are looking for but I will start with cutting. I would not cut it if it was mine, there are a few Broncos running around with lifts and 33-36's out there and its not realistic to put it back. As for tire size I ran 33" tires for ma...

Re: Winter Access Over 8 Miles of Unplowed Road
Another thing to consider is where your road ties into the main road. Alot of places here the roads crews will pile up snow at any side road that us not plowed so you could end up with a huge pile to contends with.

Full size is always an option but they are alot more work to dig out and it can be challenging to turn them around.

Re: Winter Access Over 8 Miles of Unplowed Road
Toyota trucks can be a good option as well because like a Jeep you can buy almost anything you need off the shelf. Lack of weight can also have bad effects on floatation. I wheeled with a guy lsat year in a samurai and his tires would not air down well because there was not enough weight. No matter ...

Re: Black Diamond Raven Pro Ice Axe
I also bought a Black Diamond Raven ice axe but I went for the regular instead of the pro. I purchased from Backcountry.com it was on sale with free two day shipping. It also has a few features that I wanted. First I want a leash and mine was packaged with there’s so it was a big plus for me, what g...

Re: Three skiers killed in Stevens Pass avalanche
One of my daughters friends was there and ended up with a busted leg, I believe he was one of the 13 people but I am a bit unclear of the details at the moment but apparently he feels lucky to be safe. I will be home from So Cal tomorrow and get better details.

Re: 01-21-12 - Mt Loop Run
Windows movie maker sucks, I think my next computer will be a Mac. I spent a few hours and had a video but as soon as I try to save the video it has "missing" files so I delete them and then there is another "missing" and finally no more video. Sorry I had a bit of decent footage...

Re: 01-21-12 - Mt Loop Run
I got three pictures from the lake we snow shoed into. Nick and Dion did not have any snow shoes so I don't think they had as much fun. I am working on finding some good video out of what I have.
