Trip Report: Snow Run Liberty WA

Well had a great time in Liberty. Met up with Rick and Evan Pratt and Dion Zacirias. Just enough snow to make the trails extra fun! First day great run up to Table Top and Lions Rock. Second day fun on the 319. Nice and cold. No dust! Very little mud, Ice not thick enough to hold up the heavy jeeps!

Conditions at Blewet Pass are perfect. About 12" at the top. Lion Rock will be an awesome run. Lower elevation trails will be dry and frozen with low temps. Should be a perfect long weekend. We will be camping on the lower camping area on the south side of the road into Liberty. All welcome.

Re: Need some help getting set up

Go big or get stuck. The bigger the better. In the pic you see my 76F250 weight 9300. It started out stock but if you want to go there is no other way than big rubber. I am running 39.5 Iroks. Going from 37" Super Swampers to the Iroks made the truck a differnet rig in the snow. There is not a ...

1/1/15 Snow Run

Great snow run off FR17 With Dion Z., Rick P. Dion broke a u Joint so Rick and I attempted Gee point and came short about a 1/8 of a mile. Pushing snow with the bumper on the Ford. Once the jeep took over we only gained another 100 feet or so. Aired down to 2 on Jeep and 5 on Ford. I pushed the jeep...

Re: It's almost time for Snow! Liberty Turkey Day + 3

No, not Ford trails. However Liberty is the first place I ever tried to wheel with the Ford. Pucker of 10+, made it all the way thankfully but that was the end of that. I took the buggy for the first time in the cold. Worked good. A tid bit nippy however!
