Noob here

Nice site! It's slow at work today and was browsing the net and came across it. I (along with a friend) run a Northwest wheeling forum and always like to support other NW boards....and I love snow wheeling. :D

I wheel an old Willys....

Welcome! Great opening pics. Look forward to seeing more from the east side. I've got an uncle with a Willy's. That thing was like a snowcat. What tires are you running?

I have 37 MTR's (old style) that have the center lugs grooved. Kinda small by todays standards but I really like them. I just have to drive a little smarter than the bigger guys.

I'm only on 36's. Definately on the small side these days, but I manage to get around.
Kinda surprised that they dropped the old style MTR.

I was also. I went out and bought another one when I heard they were quitting them.

All I've heard is great things about the new ones, but I still don't know what made Goodyear want to change them in the 1st place. Maybe they just weren't very popular in the dry areas like "down south."

Officially we were born in July 2009. I've had the idea rolling around my head for years, but I couldn't think of a good domain name. I wanted something that was inclusive of all backcountry deep snow activities. Then while watching the new Star Trek movie I had an epiphany
