September 12: Ice on my windshield

I think this morning marks the impending end of summer in the PNW. I had ice on my windshield this morning! Seems to have happened pretty early this year.

Here's the latest from the National Ice Center. Just a wee bit of snow and ice left at the north pole.

I wish it would just skip fall and jump straight to winter sometimes :)

My windshield was froze over solid this morning. Had to break out the ice scraper. I really wonder what's in store for us this year. I know we're well overdue for one of those massive fall storms. Hopefully we'll see some snow this winter.

Looks like old man winter is on the move
