Stevens Pass opened today

Post by Nobody »

Currently reporting a 21" base. Grim snow forecast for the next several days. :frown:

http://www.stevenspass.com/Stevens/snowreport.aspx

Opening Day Tuesday, November 20th, with limited operations.
-12pm to 4pm.
-Brooks and Daisy chairlifts.
-Early season conditions exist, ski/board with caution.
-$20 lift tickets.
-Other area pass holders are free, must show current season pass and ID.
-Food service available in Granite Peaks Lodge.
-More lifts and amenities will be added as we can.

General Discussion:
The next front, expected to pass over the mountain in a few hours, will bring light precipitation to the mountains this afternoon. Tomorrow will be cool, windy and snowy.

Long-term:
Turkey day will generally dry as a weak upper level ridge passes over the mountains. Another warm front, approaching from the southwest, will bring rising freezing levels and more precipitation to the mountains on Friday/Saturday.
WINTER IS HERE
