Post by n16ht5 » Fri May 11, 2012 11:57 pm

Took a run to Pilchuck today. Didn't make the parking lot. 5ft of fresh untouched snow up there at the lot. Ill try again next weekend. I'll put up a youtube video tomorrow

That is so freaking awesome!

I've got to drag myself off the couch and do something like this. Is the snow firm enough to hike on, or would snowshoes be needed?

Jim Dockery looks familiar, where do I know that name?

You could probably boot up there I suppose.. how strong of a skiier are you? Don't go unless you know the route (go with someone that knows it)

I'm a non-skier, but I can usually find the bottom of a hill on a snowboard, although it's been several years now. Been several years since I've been up pilchuck in the summer. I'll probably hit it this summer.
