UPS just dropped off my GoPro! I've been doing quite a bit of research and finally pulled the trigger. My first impression is Small and Great Quality! Even the retail packaging is top notch. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on the SD card, so I can't use it yet. I look forward to making some cool videos! I'll write something up in the next few days.

In the meantime, I recommend starting your research here:

(This is the old GoPro, but you'll get the idea!)

Mine is on the way, I can't wait to use something other than my phone :redneck: for my videos.

If anyone is considering a GoPro camera for Christmas, I've written a short article you might want to check out.

http://www.snowtrek.org/gopro/gopro-hero2.php

If you can't afford one, GoPro gives away one of everything every day. Just submit your email address to the giveaway page at GoPro.comImage Never know, might get lucky.

I haven't had the chance to get mine out in the snow yet, but here is a short test vid I did on the freeway the other day. 1080p 127* POV. Uploaded straight to youtube without any editing.

Sweet! You'll probably want some Rain-X on there. I haven't bought any yet. I guess there are some fogging issues, so we'll have to keep an eye on it.

I'm going to try and piece together my chest mount tonight.
