Do you have one? They look pretty good to me! I like the idea of swapping out the skiis for compacted snow or deeper snow.

We used to run the old school sleds with the metal runners, and lock several sleds together using our feet. Good times, especially for the person getting whipped around on the end of the chain.

Hammerhead Sleds was founded in 2002 with the goal of re-creating the excitement evoked by sledding a century ago, when the Flexible Flyer was first marketed. To attract new sledders and re-connect with old ones, the company took the challenge of bringing an ancient technology up to date using new-age materials, manufacturing techniques, and user experiences.

Take the "sport" of sledding from the backyard to the biggest hills with state-of-the art materials, and precision engineering such as patented steering systems, front polycarbonate and rear HDPE skis. They deliver muscular performance and bomb-proof reliability.

Pro XLD Model:
Hammerhead Pro XLD is an all-mountain, light-weight performance sled with extreme sledding performance upgrades. The Pro Series features ultra-responsive suspension, precisions steering and high-end componentry. The aircraft-grade aluminum chassis, technical mesh seat, durable polycarbonate skis and patented leaf-spring steering system make this sled a monster on the hills.

The Pro XLD comes with Pro Carving (wide) rear skis, Ski Clips and Carry Strap, ready to carve.
