Mountain Boy Slalom Sleds on Clearance at Costco

Costco has the Mountain Boy Sledworks Slalom Sled on clearance for $19.97 delivered. Full price is $149! I ordered a few for my kids
The Slalom is a flyer sled made of beautiful molded plywood, full-pivot steering, slippery plastic runners, and stainless steel hardware. This thing is fast and maneuverable! Made with 5/8"" thick marine-grade waterproof molded plywood, the entire front section of the Slalom pivots. The sled's wide stance makes it very stable and gives it excellent flotation in powder snow. On hardpack, the Slalom slides along on specialized plastic runners for top speed and control. The beechwood surface is protected by four coats of marine-grade finish. We use only stainless-steel hardware, and an extra-long pull rope. The Slalom seats two adults or three children. We also like to ride it lying down with a small child perched up on top -- that way they can feel the thrill of the ride and not get any snow in their face!

Received our sleds today. They are very very nice! These were definitely sold at a loss. The only drawback I can see is that they are heavy. I'm going to try and burn the kids names in. Can't wait to try them out.

Looks like they sold out. Said while supplies last. I was tempted to buy more for gifts, but I wanted to hold one in my hands before buying more.

Here's an unboxing video. Pretty nice sleds! Hopefully we have enough winter left to try them out.

If anyone is interested Walmart has the Mountainboy 47" Ultimate Flyer on clearance for $39 with free store pickup. Not quite the the deal Costco had, but still a decent deal. This is the shorter version of the Ultimate Flyer. The Ultimate Flyer sled has plastic skids on the bottom that are supposed to make it fast. I'd like to add one to the collection, but I just can't justify it right now. I love clearance season!
