I have that same compressor it still works great after like 4 years and I use it constantly...
How do you like your KM2s?

I'd put some lockers high on the priorty list. If you only have one set of chains, try running them in the front. And of course get that air pressure down!
The electric pumps are ok for doing the basic air-up after a run, but you may not be able to get a bead seated with it. You might consider carrying a ~2 gallon tank that you can charge up with the electric pump. That will at least give you a good blast of air. In a jamb, you can make a transfer hose and use another tire for an air tank. Pump it up to 80psi or so. A lot of people carry Power Tanks which are a little spendy, but a great alternative to an actual On-board air system.
I have a bone stock 97 Explorer, it's pretty sad when I take it out in the snow. Taller tires and lockers do wonders!

Re: 2005 ford ranger build
I sometimes put like 60-80 psi in my spare and carry a coily hose with a locking chuck on one end and a regular on the other. I have reseated a ton of beads with this setup or just the compressor, mountain dew and a ratchet strap reefed down around the circumferance of the tire. The cool thing is you allready have a spare so it's two birds with one stone and saves weight and all that good stuff. You want to use a fresh spare though not some old peice of junk ...

Saweet danger ranger color.
Ive been compiling favorite colors when i repaint my EB and I just added your color to my list.
Is it "Sonic Blue"?
KM2 kick ass. BFG tires did great at king of the hammers most of the 27 top finishers had zero flats
via rock punctures.
As for colors...got a white eb now.
list so far is..
1.Grabber Blue
2.Gotta Have it Green
3.Sonic Blue
4.Dark Highland Green
5.Plum Crazy Purple
6.Rescue Green

I agree with Nobody on Onboard Air...
I was rockin a Smittybilt Max Volume 50 for a long time...good bang for buck
It did alright but by the time you were done airing back up you were outa beer.
I just bought a VIAIR Fast Fill 200psi for my eb bronco.
5 to 15psi in 45secs roughly on 37x14.5 toyos
Super fast air up with 33x10.5 toyos
Fill time to 200psi is decent but not very impressive.
Bustin out air tools on the trail kick ass though.
Havent set a bead yet tho.
I bought harbor freight 100ft air hose and chopped it down into 3 sections to reach buddies as needed.
