Driving on Solid Ice

Post by Nobody »

When I went out to check on the snow levels this morning, I encountered miles of ICE! I took the opportunity to demonstrate our ability to get traction and drive on ice too slippery to walk on. I was aired to down 5 psi.

Cool pic, you can really see how slippery it is. We have a peice of our land the seasonally floods and sometimes freezes. It's maybe 150 yards long where the ice is. One year we had drag races on it with about 17 of our 4WD buddies. Tire preasure really played on the launch. Throughout the day the sunlight on the ice made it worse. The guy who won the eliminations had dedicated snow tires on a mildly built cherokee.
Wake Up, It's 5:29, time to go wheeling!
