First Snow Run of "2014"

Post by Chris Immer »

First Snow Run of "14" After frying the C6 last Jan and installing a four speed it was time to test the new combo. So hoping to find a little snow Dion and I set out not expecting much but found ample to require the big Ford air down. Dion in his jeep did not air down and while goofing off needed to practice his shoveling as he would not be pulled by the Ford.? We set off on FR 17 at 9AM and arrived at the towers on FR18 at Noon. Dion ran to the gas station and we then set out to explore roads we had never run. In all it was a great shake down run and having double 205's with a four speed I can now walk faster than the rig goes at idle. Made a world of difference for breaking trail. Dion did great as always but forgot food and drink. A group of Yotas, one snowmobile and one guy that should have not been there is all we ran into on the trip. Snow was dry up high and lower parts of the roads where bare.
