Greenwater Area

Post by The Betsy »

Hey there... I'm new to the site, so I thought I'd post a fun little trip up by Mount Rainier (parents leading the way in their built '85, us following in the 4Runner) Only went about a mile past where we stopped for pics. The snow was getting too deep and it was getting late. My Dad's is locked front and rear on 37's with dual cases, 5.29's, chromo's, etc..., I'm just locked in the rear on 33's, nothing more. Hence, he was having a blast breaking trail, I just had to follow... Hopefully soon we will build mine like his.

Yeah, it's a long drive, but the folks live down South, so it's a weekend trip.

Thanks.

I think we do get that kind of snow up here, it's just that all the roads are gated (at least all the areas I've tried to find). We were at 5000' down there. I don't know where you can get that kind of elevation up here. Seems like there are fewer gated roads overall in that area. But I grew up down there, so I know the area better. Still trying to figure out where to go here...
