Trip Report: Snow Wheeling 12/19

Post by Nobody »

Did a solo snow wheeling run today. Great snow above 3,000'. I broke trail all the way up the mountain. Had 4+ feet of snow above 4,000'. Pretty socked in with flurries all day, so it wasn't the best photography weather. Had the mountain to myself all day, but on my way down I passed a group of samurais and jeeps headed up. Have to go early for the fresh snow!

Looks great! I missed out as I had eye surgery Thursday and the snowmobiles are hammering roads pretty hard this weekend, so it's probably going to get tough to get around.

Probably a good thing I don't have more HP. It gets interesting when you can't see the bumps and dips. :redneck:

Nice to see you check in. The west coast has been ripped off the last two years, but it's back to normal for now. You need to get out. I'd love to see some more of your BC snow wheeling.

This trip was the first good snow run I've had in nearly a year. Nice escape for a few hours.
