Post by n16ht5 »

Went up to Boardman lake area... try out the new sled. Need more snow to have fun wheeling up there, I think another two weeks and it will be prime.

Nice! I know virtually nothing about snowmobiles. Is that one new/used? What's your intended use? Just cruising, or are you going extreme?

And, I'm patiently waiting for snow. I "almost" took the family to Pilchuck to see if we could get some sledding in, but decided not to waste the money on gas.

I got it used from a friend. hoping to use it for snowmobile assisted skiing on Mt Baker. Should be pretty fun, you can sled up to the crater if you are brave enough I hear. hopefully extreme. Also want to run Mt Loop hwy with family and North Cascades Hwy to Mazama.

Cruising the North Cascades highway would be pretty sweet. I'm sure if your moto skills transfer, you'll be owning Baker in no time. You just have to make it home to mama and the kiddo.
