Snowshoes at Costco

Post by Nobody » Mon Nov 23, 2009 8:12 pm

I was at Costco tonight and they had yukon charlies snowshoes with trek poles. $70 for the set! . They had 9x30's for fatties like me, and 9x25's for lighter folk.

I looked online, and they have the next model up for $99. I think the main difference is the addition of the ratchet binding and the storage bag.

Seems like a killer deal. I've arranged for Santa make a special delivery.

The $70 price tag is good, Costco just put them online for $79.99.
If you make it to Costco and they still have some 8x25's let me know they are out here.

I'll look next time I'm there... The $79 online price is pretty dang good though.

I just discovered that costco.ca carries a couple higher end showshoes. It appears that costco.com has dropped all snowshoes from their site. Wonder if they'll get them back?

You can get these faber winter guide hybrid showshoes in 10x40.
