Low Pressure Air Gauges
Low Pressure Air Gauges
I'm on a quest to find a replacement for my now dead Accutire MS-46B digital air gauge. These were awesome little gauges that read down to 1psi in .5psi increments. I reached out to Measurement LTD and they confirmed that these gauges are no longer produced, and were replaced by the Accutire MS-4652. I've already tried the MS-4652 and it will not read below 3psi.
Accutire MS-46B
I've posted a new article listing some of the gauges that I have already tested, and a couple that need testing.

So what gauges are you using for that low snow wheeling pressure?

Ditto! Mine still works but.....it's days are numbered. I have seen a few high dollar ones but I don't want to buy one just to find out its junk.
Re: Low Pressure Air Gauges
I have a mechanical one that came with some oasis tire deflators back in like 1998. Seems to be consistant and it registers down to 1 or 2 psi. Not sure how accurate it is. I had a digital one all of us used to buy from sears years ago that was pretty good but those are long since gone.
Wake Up, It's 5:29, time to go wheeling!
Re: Low Pressure Air Gauges
I think we have a winner! My new VT708 air gauge arrived today. It's advertised pressure range was 2-150psi, but it seems to read accurately down to 1psi, in .1 psi increments! It also allows rapid rechecks. Best of all this thing is cheap! I purchased mine for $5.22 delivered off of ebay. If you are willing to wait, you can get them direct from china for even less. Hopefully it will hold up to the elements. Time will tell.

That is a good deal! I may try to get some of these for our goody bags at our next 4x4 trials comp...

I saw at auto zone they have 0-15psi mechanical guages, I picked up one.
Re: Low Pressure Air Gauges
I was browsing at the local Canadian tire and discovered a Atv gauge that claimed 0-8.9 psi on the package. It was pretty slick and small with a carabiner hook built into it to clip on a bag or somthing. I think it was about 25$ . Forgot the brand but I can look next time I'm there.
