Bear Paw is named for Bear Paw mountain, and it is the big time for sledding... just to get to this bowl there were three 800-1000ft (elevation gain) hillclimbs, throttle pinned. When we go there there were some guys coming out with a 600ft spool of rope and a winch to recover a sled.
