Mount Pilchuck Lookout buried in snow

Snohomish County sheriff took this photo of the Mount Pilchuck lookout a week or two ago. I'd love to camp out in there for a night!

Do you know if it's open in the winter?

There's also the Hidden Lake lookout (with bonus snow wheeling access!). I spent a day up there in November, just about died getting there but then there's a nice lookout with a bed waiting and it's open year round.

EBSTEVE was up there about a month ago, he said the door was secured with a cable and you'd need a screwdriver to open it. My feeling is as long as it's left as it was found, then it's open It would be quite a slog up the road though. I think I still have enough youth in me to get up there if you want to try it sometime. Weather pending of course.

Never been to the hidden lake lookout. I need to get up there. View looks great
