Trip Report: Snow Wheeling 2021/2022 Season

Post by Nobody »

If there is anyone left out there, got my first run of the season in. Something is very different this year! The weather wasn't great, so I didn't bother with taking photos.

Welcome to the forum! I try really hard not to post location names on the internet, especially the socials. Perhaps this post will help ;)

I appreciate it and thank you for the welcome. My buddy and I snagged dedicated wheeling TJ's over the summer and are stoked to get them buried. We'll be waiting until snow comes a little further south!

You have plenty of good places near Stevens pass. Stop in and share a few pics.

Nice, you've been quiet on the other forum in the 2021 section. This is a surprise! You still have your EB?

I'm a little NW of you and would like to try to get out for a snow run. I'm picking up an 85 Toyota tonight and after I get the windshield fixed/sealed, I'll be up for a run. Maybe get somewhere and snowshoe for a bit.

Yep, still have the EB. It's still the primary four wheeler, but man is it nice taking the 2021 Bronco on long hauls. It's a joy to drive.

Should be able to make it happen. Those Toyotas are pretty unstoppable when setup right.

I think there's a new Bronco in our future, but due to the delays and uncertainty we compromised and are getting a '22 Sport for now.

I havent been active on the interwebs in a while due to life and family but I saw your video posted and knew it was you. I used to watch all your old bronco videos. I found some snow this past weekend as well. First time going snow wheeling in a few years.

I didn't get out at all last year and only had my Bronco out a couple times over the summer. Hoping to make it more of a priority this snow season.

Welcome back. Thanks for dropping in. Always fun to hit the snow after a long break. Get us some photos!

That's something you don't see every day. Should be pretty decent in the snow.

Do you mean a fullsize or a Sport? Have not driven a fullsize yet, but have looked/sat in them. We really want an Eruption Green two-door, preferably with a white top and some sort of sport stripes.

We test drove an Outer Banks Sport w/1.5L. Really liked it a lot, but ended up ordered a Badlands w/2.0L.

Sport. I test drove one early on. It was a base with 1.5L I felt like the visibility over the hood wasn't great, and the engine seemed to vibrate quite a bit at idle. I assume it's a 3 cylinder thing. Seemed to have decent power though.
