So this isn't going well. The exploder blew a bypass hose in BFE on our way to Paradise. Still might be able to salvage the day. :rolleyes2:

Well, we managed to get the bypass hose replaced and saved the day. Fist time I've ever had to take a vehicle to a shop! We continued on up to the festival. The festival itself wasn't as big as I thought it might be. Definately worth a stop. The first ascent guide team was there rubbing elbows with everyone. I thought it was pretty cool that they were just up and about with everyone. I didn't really see any screaming deals on gear. Most of the used gear looked new, except the snowshoes, they were pretty hammered. I would have loved to stick around, but the temps were in the mid 80's and the kids weren't up for sitting around listening to people talk, so we headed out for Paradise.

Grabbed the opportunity to shake Lou Whittakers hand. He's a big dude. I'm 6'1" 220lbs and he made me feel small.
