01-01-2012 - Hangover Part II - Oso

Cecil, my wife Hannah, and I went up to Oso around 11 from my place. Untracked snow, just a quad track for a short ways. Really hard packed layer of wet nasty stuff.. Had to keep airing down to 2psi to stay afloat. Views were quite nice though. We turned around at 3800ft, short of the lakes... but it was getting late.

Cecil was charging up a spur and stopped just before he drove into here..

A bit close for comfort.. some tight spots on the road

We started on the other side of that hill

off camber part

hairy

you can just see the Olympics

Mt Baker

Sun came out

Cecil trying to break the ice
