My wife inherited these wooden snowshoes. We're not sure if they belonged to her grandparents or if her mother had purchased them. We're completely in the dark.
The only identifying markings are 10x56 on the bottom. And on the rubber binding it states, Made in Canada, Quebec, and 1959. Not sure they are actually antique or not. Is there any value? If they aren't worth much, and are actually intented to be used(vs display) I think I'd actually like to try them out. I would need some other type of binding though.

Welcome to the new site. I hope to pick up a pair of modern snowshoes for this winter. I now have a chainsaw too!
