Skied from 13k on Rainier via Emmons Winthrop. Winds were really bad until about 8am (~40-50mph gusts in camp) so we didn't get going until 9. Dropped our skis at about 13k where the death ice started and booted up to 14k to the plateau. Snow started to freeze and the sun was going down so we high tailed it to our skis and headed down. Snow was pretty choppy and icy until 9k, pretty tiring, but still a lot of fun. Hopefully I'll get another window and the freezing level goes above 14k so I can ski from the top in the next few weeks.

Awesome pic! Congrats on the summit. You went all in for a first time! Looks like I'm another year out for my summit attempt.
