Saw some video's on you tube, and a post on classic, thought I would join up. Ive got a 72 bronco that I am trying to get put back together for snow season. It's not much but it's mine, and is a work in progress.

Warmed up 302, np435, 4.10's aussie locker in the rear, four wheel disc's, cage 3.5 inch lift. Just finished welding new floor pans into the passenger side, going to try and make a local snow run in a couple weeks.

This picture was taken a couple of years ago, but it is the only one I have on this machine.

And this was taken last winter, nothing beats being able to snow wheel out of your drive way!

Yeah, I try and do at least a little bit to it each day, somedays I can manage all day without stopping, then there are the days that I run out of everything, wire, gas, grinding wheels. It seems that murphy hangs out in my garage on weekends. :)

Headed to Albany,Or to pick up my new cage kit tomorrow, finally going to get a cage that I can trust, and one that covers the rear seat as well. Looks like I might just make my groups christmas tree/snow wheeling run after all.

Which kit are you getting? I deperately need a family cage too. I really like the crab cages $$

I love the crab cages too, but they are too rich for my blood. I picked up one from All 4 Fun Offroad. The family cage kit straight from them is 425. But they list them on ebay pretty regularly, and I got mine for 329. Just have to go pick it up. And of course weld it up. they offer them fitted, and completely welded also. This is the first I have dealt with them, so we will see how it goes. I will post up a review or something when I have it in my garage.

That's a decent looking cage. Do the seats mount to the cage?

No, but it would not be hard to add some seat mounting bars to the kit, it is probably something that I will look into eventually.

Well the floors, and cage are done. Well, the cage still needs paint, but that is the easy part. I have a few odds and ends to wrap up before next weekends wheeling trip, but nothing major. A few pic's

Looks like the cage came together nicely! How was the fit? Happy with the product?

I am happy with it, I got it un-fitted so the fitting took way longer than anything else. for an extra 100 bucks, you can get it fitted and tacked together in their jig, then they break it apart, number each piece and send it to you, would make the job go much faster, but my time is cheap to me, so I went with the cheaper option, but I love the finished product.

So does that mean you had to do all the fish mouths, or just cut the legs of the pillars?

only two fish mouths, and the legs to the pillars

Looks good, how big is the tube? Fish mouths are easy by the way Matt, especially if it's only 2.

2" tube, and it was easy to do the fish mouths, and I have never done one before
