Snow on the hills...

OK, snow is falling on the hills around my place. First trip up will be getting Christmas trees...
Actually, I just wanted to see if anyone is on-line!! : )

I think all the snow folk will be coming out of hibernation soon. Hopefully we'll get a few new members this year. Nice to have you join us Brian!

Late last spring...snow was really, really hard and crusty. You'd drive along and bust thru ice and need a snap out! You can see the ice in the pic!

I can see the spot where I took the pic from my house but I can't see Ranier from my house. I can see all of the Stuart Range where I go sledding from my place tho.

Saw a little snow on the passes a couple days ago. I like to watch the traffic cams to see what going on in the mountains. Check out the snow watch page if you haven't seen it yet.

Feeling like it's going to be an awesome snow year! Fresh snow around Vancouver mountains yesterday. Can't wait, it's been a long summer.

With the winter we had last year, I don't think the previous summer ever ended. The snow level dropped to about 2000' here, but there doesn't appear to be much accumulation yet.
