12-02-13 - Smithbrook, Stevens Pass

My friend texted me at 6am "Stevens got dumped on lets go riding!"



still snowing when we got there



and it was DEEEEEP ridiculously deep.. and it was all ours to shred



and of course, Ian a guy who went with us fills his goggles with snow and rides straight into the ditch, not half a mile from the truck



It got deeper as we went up..










I was the "tour guide" I am a pretty sorry excuse for a rider yet, but I seemed to make it OK, I was the only one who had been here before (in the summer)




Got to Rainy Pass and played around in the trees. Everyone got stuck


When I jumped off the snow was up to my chest..

Yeah, it does pretty well surprisingly. Only 40mph up the last stretch on the pass, otherwise good.
