Make a journey south for what has to be the worst idea in the history of off-road trip planning.
I almost want to go just to see what happens when 237 rigs go snow wheeling on the same road on new years eve night but it's probably just not worth it.

i was invited to that. it sounds like a mess to me. i was thinking about going up Stevens pass new years weekend if anyone's interested

Wow, that sounds like no fun at all.
I'm just thinking low key as usual. Something hwy 2 north. I'd prefer out by Darrington or north to avoid any traffic.

I hope to get off Island about noon. The Rainier Ridge Rams are headed out 9AM either to Race horse Mt. or Sumas Mt. I will try to catch up to them. All welcome. If you can stay out later that would be great as I am getting a late start.

Not sure if I want to get that late of a start. The snow seems great right now. The cold air mass moving in is going to turn the snow to sugar in the coming week. This weekend should be really good everywhere.
