Headed up to Sauk today. Snow on the road got deep really quickly.. was a 2" rain crust on top of frozen slurry. Parked here and continued on ski. There were some really sketch spots to drive further up anyway.

We were going to head for the peak but decided to bag it from the poor snow condition. We skied down from here. There was about 2" of sun soft on top of a rain crust on top of slurry. Not the good for anything technical
